The All Africa Music Awards were held on Saturday 27th December in Lagos Nigeria.
Guests and nominated artists were hosted by Nigerian music legend 2face Idibia and Congo's Madinga. The biggest winner of the night was none other than Naija's golden boy, Davido.

AFRIMA is a partnership between the African Union Commission and the International Committee of All Africa Music.

Wait, I'm I the only one confused about Davido winning Best African Hip Hop category? I'm a huge Davido fan but this doesn't add up. With all the hip hop artists we have on the continent, how does OBO fit this category?
