Broadcasting powerhouse Cartoon Network is teaming up with South African jazz-electro-hip-pop artist, Toya Delazy, to create an all African localized theme song for the re-launch of The Powerpuff Girls original series.

The show will launch on television screens across the continent, exclusively on DStv channel 301 starting on Saturday, 30 April at 22:55.

The announcement comes after Delazy launched South Africa's first all-female rap crew, Klutch Kollective which comprises of herself as the executive producer as well as  DK, Fiah and Genius; who are no strangers in the music industry.  The four met as students while attending the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
