African Bloggers Nominated For Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards


Kenyan, South African and Nigerian bloggers have been nominated for this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. This is the first time the KCAs recognise bloggers from the African continent.

Here are the four nominated bloggers:

Bella Naija is the brainchild of Nigerian media entrepreneur, Uche Pedro. The online entertainment and news blog has won numerous awards on top of being known as one of the best sites on the continent as well as the go-to site for the best of Nigerian weddings.

Silvia Njoki is a renowned Kenyan fashion stylist, living and working in Nairobi, and the creator and inspirational manager of the blog STYLE by SILVIA www.silvianjoki.com .The blog was created in 2013 as a creative outlet for her DIY activities in pursuit of dressing her infant daughter, born that year, but gradually evolved into a more fashion oriented vehicle for sharing her personal style on the social media scene.

Bonang Matheba won best South African Radio Personality at the 2015 ceremony. These African bloggers join the likes of African radio personalities such as South Africa's Unathi Msengana, Nigeria's Toolz and Freeze who were nominated in the past years.
