Maintaining their standards, this year's event will focus on over 100 discussions, debates and workshops over the five days. These events will feature more than twenty international authors and a wealth of South Africans.

Nigerian Novelist, Okey Ndibe, Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor, Masha Gessen, Saskia Goldschmidt Perfect Hlongwane and Nakhane Toure are among the writers featured on this year's programme.

The festival will once again feature Comics Fest and Poetica events.
