Al Jazeera presents My Nigeria documentary series set to premier on 24 August on Al Jazeera English.
The 30-minute documentary series features six diverse Nigerians including celebrities and every day people with the main objective of sharing their stories in their own words and presenting a broader picture of Nigeria than the clichés all too often suggest.
The six Nigerians include, Basketmouth (Comedian), Deola Sagoe (Fashion designer/businesswoman), Kate Henshaw (Actress/producer), Gbenga Sesan (Information and Communications Technology expert), Femi Bamigboye (Founder of the Remo Football Academy) and Sandra Aguebor (Nigeria’s first female mechanic).
My Nigeria will run until 28 September.
