The count down is on for Desperate Housewives Africa. The award-winning, international drama series will premier on EbonyLife TV (Channel 165 on DStv) on Thursday 30th April 2015. However before the big premier, there has to be a glitz and glam launch.
These are some of the faces who attended last night's launch held at the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
Meet the cast
I love me some EbonyLife TV but must we have an African version of American shows? Is Africa out of original stories? Secondly, the cast is not diverse enough, I mean if the show is Desperate Housewives Africa I expect actors from various African countries.
In other news..... It's good to see Kenyan actor Nini Wacera on this production. She's brilliant; Africa and the world ought to know her.
