Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Nominated For Grammy Award For Her Feature On Beyonce's 2013 Album

When one of Africa's finest shines amongst the best.....

Critically acclaimed novelist and award-winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie,  has been nominated for a Grammy award for her feminist-inspired collaboration with Beyonce, on her 2013 track 'Flawless',  under “Album of the Year” category.

This comes after her  TEDx talk on why We Should All Be Feminists which was sampled by Beyonce on her 2013 hit, "Flawless".

In an interview with Vogue last year,  she admitted she had become “bored” by the constant questions she received about the song, but admitted that she was pleasantly surprised by having her thoughts on feminism go “viral” hence the speech was subsequently published as an ebook.

Adichie's work has been translated into thirty languages to date.

The 57th annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 8 February 2015.

Congratulations, Queen!
