The Cape Town Hair And Beauty Show To Be Held On 13 &14 December 2014 At The CTICC




                             

The 13th and 14th of December sees the premier of The Cape Town Hair & Beauty Show at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). This event will showcase Cape Town’s hair, beauty & fashion industry under one roof. A one stop shopping experience for hair, beauty products and gifts for the holidays, with an appeal to the general public, industry professionals and distributors. Fashion TV will host a premier lounge for industry professionals to network. This “by invitation only” FTV lounge invites VIPs to relax while enjoying complimentary food and beverages sponsored by Fashion TV.

Visitors will receive a welcome drink on arrival and valid ticketholders stand a chance to win a holiday experience for two to Sun City, flights included T’s &C’s apply. Purchase designer and couture apparel at great prices. Alternatively enjoy this one stop lifestyle experience by having your hair done, unwind with a massage or add the finishing touches to your look with a manicure and pedicure.

Our diverse range of exhibitors will ensure that you are able to do some last minute festive season shopping with amazing gift items or accessorize with jewellery.

Join our special guest DJ Zinhle at the Queen’s Lounge for autographs and photo opportunities. DJ Zinhle will exhibit her exclusive range of ERABYDJZINHLE watches and jewelry. DJ Zinhle will later provide the hottest beats as the guest artist at the after party (Saturday 13th), which takes place at Marimba Restaurant, CTICC. All valid ticketholders will have access to this celebratory event.

The Fashion runway show will be hosted by Avant Garden, featuring the latest range of up and coming designers, will be the highlight on Saturday 13 December. The main event on Sunday 14 December is the Hair Pro- Stylist Contest, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Smooth ‘N Shine. Smudge Makeup School will host a Makeup Showdown giving stylists a once in a lifetime opportunity to create their looks during a live performance on stage.

Learn how to maximize your hair treatment at our workshops with special guests Patricia Grooms-Jones from San Diego, California; a stylist celebrating 20 years in the industry. Patricia’s styling work has been published in Black Passion, California Stylist Magazine and Mazza Hair Journal. In 2012 she co-founded Global Artist Network “providing educational classes for stylists by stylists” The International Beauty Show New City, Las Vegas and Spectrum International Beauty Expo in Los Angeles to name a few, have showcased her talent.

Angela Plummer is a full time freelance hairstylist and multiple award winner from the UK. Plummer is the founder of Braid Couture, a clothing line made of 100% hair. Starting with braiding her own hair at the age of 10 she progressively developed a unique style of braiding. In 2002 she started her own salon “Sour 2 Sweet”, but soon after became a full time free lance hairstylist working with various celebrities, live styling at corporate events and pursuing international competitions; successfully winning in both the UK and USA. She was honoured with awards for her contribution to the hair industry with BEFFTA Creative Personality 2011 and Artistic Creative Braids 2014.

With the increased growth in the hair industry; especially for weave, relaxers and natural hair products, an estimated forecast of 6000+ visitors over the two days is expected.

A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to CANSA. The event is currently running a project for CANSA called Wigs for a Cause. The aim of this project is to collect modern wigs for CANSA.
