Anne Kansiime is a 27
year-old Ugandan actor, comedian and writer whose work has taken the African
comedy scene to another level. Her witty character and hilarious nature have
had lovers of comedy in stitches. Some describe her work as refreshing and
something new specifically on the African comedy scene.
Kansiime holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Makerere University. Her claim to fame
draws back to her popular comedy series with Mini Buzz which saw her portrayal
of character and ownership of comedy hence being dubbed Queen of African
Comedy.
The multiple award
winning entertainer currently hosts ‘Don’t Mess with Kansiime’ which airs on
Citizen TV Kenya.
Her fans reckon she is
the Queen of African comedy. Being in a male dominated industry is no walk in
the park however, Kansiime’s niche of comedy has made her stand out from the
rest with an unconventional approach; her work depicts everyday life mixed with
creativity, innovation, and humour but above all else easy to identify with.

thus far include a BEFTA for Best Comedian, Best Actress at the Lagos
International Festival as well as Favourite celebrity for Social Media Awards
She’s the sound and new
face for African comedy with a consistent flawless delivery and we can’t wait
