Dates For Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town 2014 Announced

It is that time of the year for South African designers to show case their latest spring/summer collection for the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town.

The dates for Cape Town's biggest fashion show have been announced. MBFWCT will Kick off from 24 to 26 July, 2014. The event will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Collections from designers such as Craig Port, Fabiani, Gavin Rajah, KLûK CGDT, Stefania Morland, well as a number of upcoming fashion designers will be featured at this year's fashion week.

According to spokesperson for African Fashion International, Sizwe Nzimande, "Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town is an opportunity for both established and aspiring designers from all over South Africa to showcase their new spring/summer designs and we are pleased to announce that there is an exceptional array of talent lined up for this year's event."

He further added, " As Cape Town enjoys its status as World Design Capital 2014, AFI is celebrating creative freedom under the pillars of fashion, art and design, with various exciting developmental platforms to add a uniquely engaging element to the event."

More designers pertaking in this year's event include, Hana, Loin Cloth & Ashes, W35T, Lara Klawikowski, Pichulik, Nicholas Coutts, Michelle Ludek, Tart, Ruald Rheeder, Spilt Milk, Lo, Lazuli, Danielle Margaux & Selfi, Durban's Leigh Schubert and many more.
