Two weeks ago, I attended the launch of a new fashion label in Cape Town, Naadiya M Couture. The event took place at the fabulous V&A Waterfront Pavilion and saw various stylish and fashionable who's who including fashion bloggers and editors.
The guests were treated to yummy cupcakes and a number of drinks. It was a lovely event and I had good time. Everything run as scheduled; it was a smooth event.
The fashion brand is owned by highly ambitious Naadiya Moosajee who describes her self as a Founder and Dreamer. Naadiya is also an engineer by profession and founder of SA Women Engineers, a non-profit organisation dedicated to women engineers in South Africa. She certainly is a jerk of all trends and a master of them.
What I learnt from this event, the day wasn't all about fabulousity, I left inspired and motivated that whatever I set my mind on it can achieve.
Becoming a fashion designer has always been Naadiya's dream.
