"Lupita Nyong'o Is The Pride Of Africa", Says Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta

By now, Lupita  Nyong'o must be suffering from hiccups but that doesn't mean we are going to stop talking about what a phenomenal platform she has put the African continent. We just love her and we can't help it.
Following her recent Oscar award victory, the president of Kenya, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta released a statement congratulating the 12 Years A Slave actress.

The president's acknowledgement and support excites me and could be interpreted as an incredible platform for the ARTS in Kenya. His government might increase their investment in the Arts industry. But then again, this is my interpretation/two cents but which ever way you see it, I applaud the Pres for his acknowledgement and pat it the back. It gives me, 'we've got your back' kind of vibe.

Here's what the holder of the highest seat in the land of Kenya had to say:

"Excellence inspires and deserves emulation. Lupita reminds us of all that is possible for the youth of this nation when they set their hearts and minds to a great task — in her own words, ‘No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.’ We, their parents, must take these words to heart; ours is to help our young people fulfill their potential".
