Filmed in present day Brazzaville Congo, Guinness Europe introduces us to small knit group of men known as the 'Sapeurs' with an undying love for fashion.
The ‘Sapeurs’ of the Congo are a society of elegant men, who are not defined by their circumstances living with Joie De Vive (The Joy of Living). Guinness Europe followed this group of people documenting their lives as fashion lovers who regardless of their situation, fashion brings happiness in their everyday survival.
The short documentary explores and highlights brightly coloured and social affairs that bring the ‘Sapeurs’ together.

Their life is not defined by occupation or wealth, but by respect, a moral code and an inspirational display of flair and creativity.
