Video: Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Talks to TIME About Nollywood, Activism and Africa




The year 2013 has undeniably been a fruitful one for Nigerian actress and philanthropist Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde. After being part of 20 year old Nigerian film industry Nollywood for 18 years and still counting, the bubbly actress appeared on TIME Magazine's 100 most influential people in 2013 in addition to that, she had a successful reality show.

Omotola spoke to TIME about Nollywood, Activism and Africa. Not only is she a prominent African but also a philanthropist who creates awareness of issues affecting the African continent and being a bacon of hope through her humanitarian work. She further uses her voice to empower and inspire the youth.
She's a mother of four, wife and career woman who manages to juggle all these different aspects of her life and still looks this good while at it! The award winning actress has appeared in over 300 Nollywood movies to date.
