Rockville Season 2 Returns 9th February 2014 On Mzansi Magic

The South African TV drama that had us all glued to our television screens, Rockville is back for a second season on Mzansi Magic (channel 161) on DSTV after a successful first season.  The drama series will kick start on Sunday, 9th February 2014.

There has been a few changes, the show will now be airing on Sunday and as you're aware, more drama awaits us.
This production is living testimony of what happens when a beautifully written compelling African story line meets talented actors and on top of that, headlined by a sustainable and sufficient budget. Magic happens.
Just like the first season, the second one promises to be thrilling and captivating including majority of the old cast and new faces.
Entertainment power couple, Connie and Shona Ferguson who also happen to be the executive producers had this to say;
“We are very excited about the second season of Rockville. We were inspired by the positive response we got from season 1 and pushed the boundaries to deliver an even better season.Rockville season 2 is darker, edgier and sexy. Each episode will keep the audience wanting more".
At the end of the first season, I couldn't help but think if only local productions would be thoroughly funded. Investing in local content and stories for Africans by Africans creates more room for our stories to be heard and celebrated for their originality and better yet be told our way.
