Lupita Nyong'o is a Kenyan actress and filmmaker who recently just made her biggest acting debut as Patsey in a critically acclaimed American film, 12 Years A Slave directed by Steve McQueen.
A graduate from Yale School of Drama majoring in acting, in 2008 she returned to Kenya and starred in MTV's Staying Alive TV series, Shuga (Love Sex Money)
She's one lady to look out for in 2013, her role in the movie is surely creating an Oscar buzz. We just have to wait and see.
