African innovators are on roll and we love every bit of it! It's about time we had emojis depicting Blacks too, you know.
The latest fascination is the Afro Emoji stickers better known as modern "African hieroglyph" by the creators. The app was launched a few days ago on both iOS and google play, and is available for free download. More good news, the emojis are customizable; meaning they can be used on any social media platform of your choice.
The new innovation uses Pan-African phrases and captions for each emoji while styled in traditional African attire. Most of these phrases are widely used in West African nations such as Ghana, Nigeria among others.
