MTV Shuga whose tag line is, Love Sex Money will be hitting our screens on 1st December (which also happens to be World AIDS Day) on MTV Base. Talk about perfect timing!
This info/edu-taining drama is produced by MTV Base and MTV Staying Alive Foundation and directed by the incredible creative that is Biyi Bandele (who also directed Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie's feature film, Half of a Yellow Sun) and explores the themes of HIV/AIDS and safe sex.
Last night saw the premier of the third season of MTV Shuga and all the cast members including celebrities such as Tiwa Savage and Iyanya were in attendance.
The third season is a bit of a twist being shot in Nigeria this time around and titled Shuga Naija follows two previous successful seasons which were filmed in Nairobi, Kenya.
